Çamlıca Cultural Center
The Çamlıca Cultural Center was built on the hill of Çamlıca, on Istanbul's Anatolian side, for Akya Global and Güryapı. Its 10,000 m² gather the three institutions a district needs in one building: a conference hall seating a thousand, a public library, and space for exhibitions.
The three uses are brought together so that they can be used separately or at once — a congress can run while the library stays open, and an exhibition can borrow the audience of both. The interior was designed as part of the same commission.
