Delta Factory
The Delta factory and office building was designed for Delta Chemical in Bandırma, Balıkesir, on the southern shore of the Sea of Marmara — an industrial region whose plants are largely defined by the logistics of production rather than by architecture.
The commission pairs a production facility with the offices that run it, and the project's substance lies in how those two very different requirements are brought into one building: the long spans and servicing of a chemical plant alongside daylit workspace for the people who manage it.
