Ege Apartment
Ege Apartment is a 1,500 m² residential building in Istanbul, completed in 2020 for İnkayapı.
The building follows the familiar Istanbul apartment type — shop units at street level, apartments above — and concentrates its architecture in the elevation that the street actually sees, where a sculptural relief is worked across the facade and carried down between the ground-floor units.
The commercial frontage is planned for the everyday uses of a residential street rather than for retail at scale.
