Gallery Non
Gallery Non was a 240 m² interior for a contemporary art gallery on Nur-i Ziya Sokak in Tophane, Beyoğlu, completed in 2009 — the earliest project in the practice's record.
Galeri NON opened that September and became known for taking risks with its programme, running a separate platform for performances and talks alongside its exhibitions. The interior had to serve both: a gallery disciplined enough for the work, and a space that could be re-occupied for an audience.
The gallery operated on Nur-i Ziya Sokak until 2014.
