Khujand Marina
Khujand Marina is a masterplan for the waterfront of Khujand, the second city of Tajikistan, which sits at the mouth of the Fergana Valley on the Syr Darya. The river has always defined the city; the project takes the edge between the two as its subject.
The plan sets out a marina and the public ground around it, turning a stretch of riverbank into a place the city can occupy — promenade, moorings and the mix of leisure and commercial uses that make a waterfront work outside the summer season.
