Lal Apartmanı
Lal Apartmanı is a residential building in İstanbul, set into a continuous street wall of mid-rise apartment blocks.
Rather than competing with its neighbours, the façade works within their rhythm. A grid of warm, olive-grey panels frames deeply recessed windows, giving each floor a measured depth and a play of shadow across the day. Bronze-toned corrugated metal at the base and returns adds texture at close range, while the ground floor opens to the street through a recessed entrance.
The building is currently under construction.
