Sakarya City Parking
Sakarya City Parking was designed for Sakarya Municipality as a 22,000 m² intervention in the centre of the city, where parking had become the constraint on how the public space around it could be used.
The project treats a car park as an urban question rather than an engineering one: the point of consolidating parking is what it releases at ground level, and the plan is organised around that exchange.
The design was completed and prepared for tender.
