The Egg
The Egg is an industrial-design project realised in Jerusalem in 2015.
It is an object rather than a building: an ovoid volume built up from a lattice of repeated white ribs, assembled by hand into a self-supporting shell whose geometry is entirely described by the spacing and curvature of its members.
The interest of the piece lies in that economy — a single repeated element, and a form that only appears once all of them are in place.
