Waterway
Located within the dynamic urban fabric of Bostancı, Istanbul, in the E-5 district, Waterway No. 58 is a residential project that explores the relationship between materiality, structure, and sculptural form through a contemporary architectural language.
The project features a natural stone, local travertine, facade articulated through fluid relief, texture, and shifting geometries, creating a layered and tactile building envelope. Inspired by water-carved natural topographies, the design establishes a dynamic relationship between solid and void while responding to the coastal character and changing light conditions of the Marmara region.
Combining local craftsmanship with contemporary computational design approaches, Waterway No. 58 presents a distinctive office architecture that is strongly rooted in its context while maintaining a forward-looking architectural expression.
